Dental Bleaching

You are interested in whitening (bleaching) your teeth. With good reason, as beautiful, bright teeth express vitality, well being and good quality of life.

Reasons for stains and discolourations on dental surfaces may be the regular consumption of tobacco, coffee, tea, red wine and other certain food.
Some people have less white or yellow teeth by nature what might not be very aesthetic. Others have darkened teeth from age. But you do not have to accept this!

At first we clean your teeth professionally

Before bleaching a thorough cleaning (professional teeth cleaning) of all dental surfaces has to be carried out. After all, we do not want to whiten your dental plaque but your teeth! After this cleaning obstinate discolorations, (by tobacco, coffee and tea); tartar and debris have been removed. Before bleaching, all teeth must be free of decay. Fillings, crowns and bridges from porcelain or resin do not bleach

We can then start bleaching – with the method of your choice

Home Bleaching
When using this method of bleaching, you will get a well fitted thin plastic bleaching tray, to which the special bleaching gel has to be applied, and which stays in your mouth for several hours – for example over night. Home bleaching gels have the same whitening effect than those used in dental offices. Home bleaching, however, has to be carried out over a period of several days or weeks.

In-Office Bleaching – ZOOM! Bleaching
This method of dental bleaching is being done in our office. With only one visit, a considerable teeth whitening can be reached. As much stronger bleaching agents are used, it must be supervised in our practice.

Internal Bleaching
When using the internal bleaching method, the tooth is whitened from the inside. This can be used for dead or root canal filled teeth.
Basically 1-2 shades whiter or more can be achieved.
